If the Full Set is our interpretation of Botticelli’s Venus, the Empress Set is what happens when she steps out of the painting.

The shells travel from the lace to the gold clasp, around the thighs and finally to the choker, while emerald straps wind their way around the body. I wanted all four pieces together to feel a little theatrical: less inspired by Venus and more dressed for the part.
